Profile

I'm an EdTech Researcher and Trainer. I am currently working as Sr. Research Assistant at TU Dublin and previously worked as Assistant Director IT at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Pakistan which is one of the mega open universities of the world. I'm also a Ph.D. research scholar at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan which is ranked #1 in Pakistan and is among the top 100 Asian universities according to QS world university ranking 2023. My area of research revolves around GIS, Spatial Learning Analytics and Distance Education. I'm passionate about EdTech, Research and teaching. I have received several international and national awards including one Gold Medal and three Silver Medals from the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU) for two Young Innovator and one Best Practice Award and 1st and 2nd Prize from AIOU and National Idea Bank. I have been awarded three research fellowships from Shanghai Open University (SOU), China, University of Philippines Open University (UPOU) and Anadolu University, Türkiye. I have more than 20 research publications in different national and international journals and conferences.
